Ello ello! Here is my download of my life since my last post about London!
London was in the middle of the Summer, and now it's February, so I've got a LOT to say.
1st of all, once Apa and Sean left, we went to Barcelona, Spain. We had lots of fun, watching a dancing fountain show, exploring the city, but we left (to somewhere more interesting, if you ask me) to the (drumroll please) DISNEY CRUISE!!! It was sooooo cool! We did everything there was to do! One of my favorite things were having fun days with all the activities, but especially the cool dinner places. My favorite was Animators Palette! That was sooooo fun! Our last stop was then Barcelona again, doing more of beginning of the school year shopping.
Then, when the excitement dreadfully ended, we went back to school, with all of supplies, with the information that I was in Mr. Oates' class. I knew him from my first day at ISA, but not very well. But then it also said Ms. Spanjaard, a 2nd grade teacher who had a baby and then left for a while, as well. So I was wondering who was my teacher. Turns out, Ms. Spanjaard teaches on Mondays and Mr. Oates teaches on Tuesday-Friday. Ms. Spanjaard is a sub from Tuesdays-Wednesday and Thursdays is her day off as she subs on Fridays, too. Mr. Oates' day off is Monday because he says he has been working for a long time (which I don't blame hime - 30 something years :-) ) and Ms. Spanjaard has her Thursday off to spend time with her adorable baby (which she shows us sweet videos of her).
We've done lots of fun things at school so far. The ISA website'll tell you about 4FO/IS's learning and field trip. But now, we are making up our plays for our ATWAS unit (all the worlds a stage) and in art, we're making our masks. Today, I started to paint my mask after all that time building it.
So far in our school year, we've had 2 breaks. In the 1st one, we went to Greece. We started in Athens and did the whole historical business, and then we relaxed on the beach all day for the last days. I'd say I prefer the beach, but it was all very beautiful besides the raining.
The 2nd break, we went to Africa with the Newman family. It was SOOOOO cool. Again, 1st we stayed in Tanzania and did a super cool Safari, seeing basically all the animals we would DREAM of seeing!! My favorite were the lion cubs and the Giraffe. They both were soooo pretty. Then, we spent some time in Zanzibar on the beach, and that was pretty nice. I got a chance to swim with dolphins, learn how to snorkel, tried to snorkel the coral reef and I fed zebra fish. That was sooooo cool. I LOVED Africa.
After Africa, it was my birthday!! I had a fun birthday party and yummy cupcakes. I planned out my whole birthday meal - Daddy's pancakes for breakfast, Mech sandwiches for lunch and the hard rock cafe for dinner. It was soooo fun!!
And when we went back to school, we got a new girl called Josephine, who's Dutch. She's really nice, and our nickname for her is Jo.
Well, that's basically it!

London Again!!
So next we went to London with Apa and Sean!
Day 1. We had a shopping day where we went to the Hamleys toy store and the Nike store. That was super fun and at the Nike store, we saw one of the Nike pool ramps. At Hamelys, there was lots of fun things that you could watch, like samples for toys.
Day 2. Sight seeing day. We went to the Ripleys believe it or not museum and that was really creepy. There was really scary things that people do in the world! In the morning we saw the changing of the guards at the castle thingy, and it was OK. It was a bunch of guards marching with guns with swords at the ends and guards with big tubas and drums, so it was quite cool. Also we went to the London eye and that was cool. You could see everything below you!
Day 3. (Last day) We went to the St. Pauls Cathedral and that was cool seeing statues. But we had to walk tons of stairs. We all had a really fun time!
One of the best parts was London has Baskin Robins and so we enjoyed that a lot!!

Paris Again!!
OK!! Recently we went to Paris with Apa and Sean, My auntie and cousin!! We first saw the Eiffel Tower, and we went inside it to the second floor. We did that at exactly midnight, because we drove there the whole day, and every hour the Eiffel Tower blinks lights, so we were inside it at the 12:00 hour!!
After that, we went shopping for 2 days. It was quite nice out in the city but I did get a little bit board from all of the stores. We walk a lot for about 18 hours total.
Our apartment was right next to the Arch de Triomph (SP?) and so that was really nice. We could walk almost everywhere.
On the last day we went to Disneyland Paris, and that wasn't a far drive. First we saw mickey mouse, then we tried to go on Indiana Jones but of course, I was too short. So we saw mickey mouse, minnie mouse, tweetle dee and tweetle dum, repunzle, merlin the wizard, a parade of princesses and princes, and the parade with lots of characters. If you really want to you could ask me who else was there. It was really awesome and I got to go on lots of rides too!!

Mia's Morning Muesli
This week at school we've been working on measuring. So we decided to work on the most used thing of measuring - food. We also were looking at advertisements so we made a combination of advertisements and measuring. So we measured and made our own muesli and made advertisement boxes for them. Mine was called Mia's Morning Muesli. On June 16th we are not going to eat breakfast at home and eat our
muesli at school.

#1. December/January-In Madrid: So In that trip we first went to Salamanca to visit uncle Carlos and his family. We had Christmas and Santa came, we went and looked around Salamaca and saw some history, and we went to Abuela's house for Christmas and I got an IPod Touch for Christmas. After a while, we went to Portugal for Mamas Birthday. We bought her cozy socks, a bright pink scarf and also a nightie. We went to this really cool castle for her - and it was MULTICOLORED!! Then we went to someplace and went to like a resort and had so much fun in a HOTEL apartment!! Next we went to Seville (PS all of the places were in 1 trip in 3 weeks) for my 9th birthday and new years!!! (PS this was in JANUARY) And I remember we got an awesome hotel with a bunkbed for my birthday. So the whole day I got to choose what to do and I made it the BEST DAY EVER. (And it was my BFF's birthday) Oh yeah, and we went to the beach which wasn't that EXTRAVAGANZAISH.

Flight to Madrid
Yesterday, we were all so excited to go to Madrid the next day. We were all packing, planing what we were going to do and getting all excited. After a night of packing, we all went to bed tiredly. In the morning it turned out that it was canceled!!! Luckily, Mama's trying to get a later flight for today because the only Madrid one that was canceled was only our flight :(

The Chocolate Museum
Yesterday, we went to the chocolate museum. We got free samples of chocolate and we saw how the crack the shells of the cocoa beans, they mush it and make it like syrup, pour it into the square - templates, (if it's a piece of chocolate) let is cool, dump the chocolate squares, go under a machine and make the picking-up vacuum and picks up the chocolate to go in a single file line so that next it goes into a wrapping machine (the leftover ones that don't get vacuum-cleaned goes into a machine that makes it warm, into syrup and through the cycle again) and last the lady puts it into the box and ships it.
